Organic Veggies and Fruits

Good week

This week, only:

Update of the expected items in our vegetable and fruit baskets.

Reminder about our new fresh eggs (organic free-range, enriched by Omega 3. Laid and packaged in the Daniel Hen farm)

Letter from a friend that I want to share with you:

“Shalom friends,

During this week of the Tenth of Tevet, the day during which we remember the destruction and shoah in Jewish history, it is difficult to ignore the human horrors that are happening just over our border, in Syria.

Difficult?

There aren’t words,

Despite all we promise ourselves when we hear about the silence of neighbors, friends, and the world when the Jews (and homosexuals and Roma and Communists) were persecuted during the Shoah, it is too easy for us to close our eyes to the pain of the children, the uprooted, the refugees, the raped women, and the separated families who are freezing in the snowy streets of Aleppo, the escapees, the fearful, the suffering from the enormous evil of their compatriots and the world.

If you want to do something and don’t know where to begin or how –

We are collecting donations of diapers (nappies), formula for infants, and hygenic pads for women – that will be delivered at the end of the month to Syria.

The donations will be delivered via the organization “Amaliah” (Moti Kahana), an organization that raises awareness and does blessed work, see the links to its website and Facebook page at the bottom of http://www.mako.co.il/special-love-israel/articles/Article-cd925d828f3f851006.htm .

Collection point in Nes Harim at my home:

Hashezaf 266 Nes Harim

For communities in the Etzion Bloc, Jerusalem, and others – a current list is attached to this email. We are working on a Facebook page that will list all the collection sites. We’ll let you know when the page is online.

Please deliver only those items mentioned above (we are not permitted to send others into Syria) to the collection points by January 24.

Also, please help by distributing this message by WhatsApp, groups, forums, Facebook, Twitter.

And to volunteers in places throughout the country who are willing to become collection centers.

In hopes of better and brighter days,

Love,

Bat-Ami

Joining Bat-Ami’s efforts-also possible to drop off here in Nataf and hopes for rain,
