organic spring

As of today it is official: it is spring!!

Two days ago was the vernal equinox, which means that the earth was at such an angle to the sun that the length of the day and the length of the night were exactly equal.
From now on, in our northern hemisphere, the days are getting longer and the nights are getting shorter, as we approach the summer solstice. In the southern hemisphere the weather is the opposite.

This year, because we never really separated from the sun during the winter, I'm a bit hesitant to accept the spring.... but the world keeps turning :), summer plants are being planted and the winter crops in the garden are enjoying the warm springy weather together with the wetness of the dew and the last rains.
Accordingly, we have an especially wide variety of crops right now.

Spring is here, Passover is coming. Changes for the holiday:

During the week of Hol Hamoed (April 14-18) there will be no deliveries. I am reminding you to take this into account when ordering for the week before (April 6-11). Feel free to revise your order accordingly.

Those of you who receive a box every two weeks - if you'd like to change the date of your delivery so that there will not be a gap of 3 weeks between deliveries, you are welcome to do so. We are always available to assist you if needed.
