Great week friends!
This week I worked so much in the garden- weeding, weeding, weeding, so just a short update.
The wonderfull, abundant rain together with the warm weather, causes all the seeds in the ground to germinate quickly and all the young plants (weeds and seedlings as one) to grow rapidly. The garden is beautifuly green with lots and lots of weeding. My hands are almost immune to the prickly nettles 🙂
This week lots of seedlings are arriving. All organic winter vegetables crops. The only summer crop remaining in the garden (not taking in to consideration the perennials and Garlic chives that just don't seem to end- amazing … 🙂 are the eggplants. They are such a beautiful bed, strong and healthy plans and I have to decide whether to try to keep them in a garden through the winter to get a crop in early summer. In a previous winter I missed some eggplant and they kept there head up with dignity.
