Turnips in white wine, garlic and lemon
Ingredients (3 servings):
5-6 small-medium turnips, sliced 1.5 cm thick
3 garlic cloves, peeled, whole
4-5 stems of organic thyme
1/4 cup olive oil
Coarse salt and pepper
1/2 cup white wine
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 200 degrees and prepare a greased medium pan.
Mix oil, salt, pepper and turnip slices together so that the mixture covers all the slices. Place in a pan with the garlic and thyme.
Bake for about an hour to an hour and a half; each half hour pour a little white wine and stir. When all the slices get a golden color and are caramelized, remove and serve.
