Good week, new and exciting!!
Big news!!! This week we are packing from our new premises in the Kastel (Maoz Zion). Ha’yitzira st. 10. (Yes, that cute new area down the simta.)
It is also Green Garlic season and there are 5 colors of Beets. Now nothing beats that!!
Packing and delivering from there should make our work more efficient and very soon will allow you to come and choose your produce. You will also be able to sit down for a cup of juice and all sorts of delicious and fun things :). It will really be a “home in the garden”, in the Kastel.
The idea is that all of the produce – from our garden and from other growers, will arrive to our ne place where you can see it. You can also sit down, meet us and one another, get acquainted, relax in the garden, drink juice and maybe also participate…. we can offer you a variety of products that are not suitable for delivery. For us, the packing work will be more efficient and we’ll even have a flat floor!! Finally 🙂
The place is big enough for all of our office needs, for the packing process and also for a small shop and juice bar. During the time that there is no packing, i would like to give classes, hold workshops, and simply create a “place for natural connections”.
I HAVE LOTS OF IDEAS for this large space. Since our “packing house” operates only 4 days a week, from early in the morning until the afternoon… and its best to come directly to the source…. sort of like a factory store… I hope to create a center for natural local collaborations. As I said, I have many ideas: show and sale of local artwork, music, farmers market, קח תן (“give & take fair”?), cooking workshops, production of excess products….
So for the last few weeks, with my friends and family, we’ve been painting, carpentering, building, cleaning etc… there is still plenty more to do, but it is actually happening. This week the packing process will move to there, so please be patient regarding delays and missing products….

Once we are prepared, we will host a big open house and I will invite you all to visit and have a cup of tea or juice. Of course, i will send out a proper invitation.
