Organic turnips and sweet potatoes in the oven
You can vary with different spices or add cream to make au gratin.
Ingredients:
6 small-medium sized turnips, 1 cm thick slices
2 large sweet potatoes, 1 cm thick slices
Olive oil
Coarse salt
Coarsely ground black pepper
Herbs of your choice: garlic, rosemary, thyme, sage
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 200 degrees and grease the pan.
Arrange the sweet potatoes and turnips in the pan in a fan pattern.
Drizzle olive oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper and the mixed herbs and place in the oven.
Bake for about an hour to an hour and a half until the desired tenderness.
